Omnibus - CAPIBUS
The omnibus system of Ipsos Insitute has been at the disposal of our Clients for fifteen years. Omnibus researches are characterized by a combined questionnaire containing several topics of several Clients completed with standardized social, demographic and territorial evaluation points of view. From January 2005 on we conduct our omnibus system by the CAPI (Computer Aided Personal Interviewing) data collection method.
Advantages of the SZONDA CAPIBUS:
- The method retains the major advantages of the omnibus researches:
- In the case of only a few questions there is no need to finance a single research.
- The cost of the segmenting, so-called social-demographic, variables is divided between the omnibus Clients, which provides additional cost-effectiveness.
- The research budget can be calculated easily, deadlines and costs are fixed for the whole year in advance.
- The CAPI method itself provides additional new opportunities and quickness
- Besides all advantages of the laptop interviewing the technique of the desirable face-to-face method is retained.
- Even at a 60% level of the data collection Clients can obtain a preliminary report, which indicates tendencies properly, since data arrive at the Institute on a daily basis on-line and they can be analyzed immediately.
- If it is needed, your questions can be phrased according to target group segmentation in various versions and the digital interviewing ensures that we state the proper questions to every target group.
- The reliability of the interviewing data is total, since this method eliminates mistakes of the interviewing technique.
- Interviewers are controlled regularly, the error checking is continuous.
- The technical background and the novelty enhance the prestige of the interviewing and our experience proves that the willingness to respond increases.
- The method is applicable to display multimedia materials.
Characteristics of the SZONDA CAPIBUS:
- Szonda Capibus represents the 18+ aged population with a national sample of 1500 persons.
- The samples represent the Hungarian settlement network proportionally.
- The composition of the persons involved in the sample represents the composition of the whole 18+ aged population by the most important social-demographic indices.
- Each sample consists of a different 1500 persons.
- The special sample design enables us to ask the different question units on a sample of 1000, 2000 or even 3000 persons.
- The sample can be completed up to the age of 15 according to our Clients’ needs.
- We perform the data collection with a standardized questionnaire employing our national interviewer network trained for laptop interviewing.
